Wow, I couldn’t believe it.  Today Pope Benedict XVI made an announcement that has both shocked and delighted the world.  Apparently, homosexuality is no longer a sin. Does gay marriage have legal support?

I have no problem personally with gay marriage. In fact, I think it should be allowed, but I do not think it has any legal grounds until it is given those grounds by the legislature. I have analyzed this purely from a legal standpoint, and have come to the conclusion that it is highly unlikely that gay marriage will succeed with its challenges in the courts for some very simple reasons.
